Site terms
The terms for using Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking: our role, the booking platforms' role, and where our responsibility stops.
What Batur Trekking is
Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking (mountbatursunrisetrekking.top) is an independent guide to the Mount Batur sunrise trek. We research and write the pages and send you to treks and tours you can book elsewhere. We run no tours, sell no tickets, take no payments and hold no bookings.
The booking platform
Any booking started from one of our links is a contract between you and GetYourGuide, or the tour operator, signed on their site under their terms. They answer for the ticket, the trek itself, payment, changes, cancellation and refunds.
About the trek prices
Each price here is a starting price in whole dollars, rounded to the nearest dollar. Anything quoted by a platform in another currency is converted at the European Central Bank's reference rate, so ours is close but not exact. Only the price and open dates the booking platform displays at checkout bind anyone.
Can you trust the trek details
We verify what we publish and name our sources. Still, pickup times, meeting points, routes and rules are decided by operators and authorities and can change unannounced, and weather, volcanic conditions or an operator's decision can change or cancel a trek. Read the listing you book before you pay.
Our planning tools
The calculators, checklists, option pickers, charts, planners and maps on these pages help you prepare. What they total or suggest is an estimate, never an offer or a guarantee.
Our trek commission
Our tour links are affiliate links: book through one and GetYourGuide pays us a commission, while your price stays the same. We alone choose which tours appear.
Content supplied by outside parties
We link to sources and offers run by third parties; whoever runs them is solely responsible for what they publish.
Copyright of the trek text
The texts, tools and layout of this site are protected by copyright. Read and print them for yourself, and share a page by linking to it; anything further needs our consent. Photographs of the tours belong to their providers; map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database Licence.
Where our liability stops on the slopes
Use of the site is free. We are fully liable for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. In every other case we are liable only for breach of an essential duty, and only for the damage typically foreseeable.
Governing law and later revisions
German law governs these terms. If you live in another country as a consumer, the mandatory consumer rules there still protect you. These terms may be updated; the version live on the day you read them is the one that applies.
